ERICOVIR (Entecavir 0.5 mg tablet) is a nucleoside analog[1] (more specifically, a guanosine analogue) that inhibits reverse transcription, DNA replication and transcription in the viral replication process.
It is more effictive than previous agents used to treat hepatitis B (lamivudine and adefovir).
